1 week, 5 conversations

This past week I had 5 different conversations (not intentionally) about 5 different churches here in the inland empire. Each conversation was different and centered around various interactions with those churches. Over then next couple of weeks I’m going to highlight the “issues” not the churches and how to pray for those issues when you see them arise in your church.

To be clear I don’t believe there is any perfect church as we all have our problems and for the most part we just need to learn how to suck it up and deal with the imperfections we find. But I do believe there are some issues that cause churches to be less effective than they can be and need to be brought before the lord so he can instruct those who are in error as we see in Revelations 2-3.

The issues (as I see them) have to deal with: Pride, lack of vision, leadership, trust, and authoritarianism. Over the next few weeks I’ll cover each of these and how to pray against/for them. But in the mean time let’s pray for the churches in California, that they would stand firm in the truth and be a light in the darkness.
